Nenagh continue to struggle as Newport continue promotion challenge
The Blues travelled to Limerick on Thursday to take on Fairview Rangers and after a good performance, slipped to a 1-0 defeat.
On Sunday, Nenagh entertained reigning Munster Junior Cup champions Pike Rovers at Brickfields and after a tough encounter we were well beaten by the classy Hoops 6-1.
Division 1B
Newport Town climbed into third place in the table after taking six points from six over the past week. Firstly on Thursday they were away to Hill Celtic and came away with a 2-1 win with Dave Kennedy and Christy Doyle on target.
