Nenagh AFC FAI Youth Cup Champions

Nenagh A.F.C. claimed their first national title in their 62 year history when they defeated Evergreen F.C. Of Kilkenny 4 – 2 on penalties after the sides finished one all after extra time in The Prince Grounds in Castlecomer on Monday, to be crowned F.A.I Youth Champions.

Cian Darcy's 77th minute strike cancelled out Bobby Walsh's opener to leave the sides level after normal time and extra time.

Nenagh were victorious in the shoot out with Craig McDonnell with the winning spot kick to give his side a 4-2 victory on penalties.
