Irish Greyhound Board supports Movember as special offer launched nationwide
The Irish Greyhound Board will be supporting the ‘Movember’ initiative this month as spectators are being encouraged to enjoy a great night out while supporting a worthy cause.
For every ‘deal of the month’ booked at eight tracks nationwide – Curraheen Park in Cork, Limerick, Newbridge, Mullingar, Waterford, Shelbourne Park in Dublin, Tralee and Galway – the Irish Greyhound Board will donate €2 to Movember.
The initiative looks to raise awareness of some of the biggest health issues faced by men, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health and suicide prevention.
Last year, the IGB donated €1,650 on behalf of customers who enjoyed a night out with friends during the Movember Deal of the Month.
For €13.95 per person, the offer includes:
- Admission and race programme (worth €10 alone)
- A Classic ¼ Pounder Burger
- Bottle of House Beer or Glass of House Wine or mineral
- A fake moustache
- Your €2 Movember donation
The offer is valid between now and the 25th of November. A minimum of four people is required per booking and the offer must be booked in advance.
