Junior Hurling Championships: Both the 'A' and 'B' Championships are at an advanced stage and whilst the 'A' teams are on a week off, it is looking like Nenagh will top the group chased by Toomevara and Knochshegowna with Borris-Ileigh and Roscrea also in contention for a semi-final position with two rounds to go.

In Junior 'B', Newport have already qualified from Group 2 straight to the semi-finals with the winner of Kiladangan v Silvermines to join them. The loser of that game plus Borrisokane go into the quarter finals from group 1 with Lorrha and Moneygall progressing from group 2.

Minor Hurling Championships: The minor 'A' championship has got off to a flying start as in round 1 Toomevara overcame Nenagh whilst Ballina held out for a single point victory over Roscrea. This week Ballina play Kiladangan and Toomevara meet Roscrea. The top four from five will advance to the semi-finals.

Meanwhile in the 'B' grade we have two groups and throughout the week we have four round 2 games down for decision. In the 'B' grade the top team in each group will go to the semi-final with the second team playing the third from the opposite group in the quarter finals.

Under 14 Hurling Championships: In the 'A' grade there are two back fixtures to be played, before we can determine the knockout pairings. The games in question are Roscrea v Nenagh this Thursday evening and Toomevara v Nenagh, yet to be arranged. Once the outcome of these games are known , the CCC will then draw the pairings.

In 'B' we have two playoff games this Thursday evening which sees Shannon Rovers Gaels v Lorrha and Kiladangan v Ballinahinch/Templederry. The quarter finals will be played on Thursday 25th July followed by the semi-finals on Friday 1st August, with the North Final on August 9th/10th.

The 'C' final is a straight decider involving Newport v Portroe, date to be arranged.

Under 12 Hurling Championships: Hard to believe that we are at the knock out stages already, as the U12 playoff games took place last evening (Tuesday) with the scores unavailable at time going to press.

In the 'A' championship, the semi-final pairings are Nenagh Eire Óg v Ballina or Borris-Ileigh and Kilruane MacDonaghs v Burgess or Toomevara.

In 'B', the last four consists of Roscrea v Kiladangan and Moneygall or Silvermines v Newport or Borrisokane.

In the ''C grade, the semi-finals will be between Kilruane MacDonaghs v Shannon Rovers Gaels or Templederry and Portroe or Ballina v Newport or Nenagh Eire Óg.

All the above semi-finals will take place on Tuesday 30th July.

In the 'D' Cup competition, we have one playoff game this Friday 19th July which sees Toomevara v Borris-Ileigh, with the winner travelling to Newport in one semi-final with Ballinahinch meeting Roscrea in the second decider.

In the D Plate competition, both semi-finals take place on Friday 26th July and pits Kilruane MacDonaghs v Kiladangan and Portroe v Burgess.

It has been necessary to move all semi-finals from the original date to Tuesday 30th July due to the County U20 game v Cork. Please note that all four U12 North finals will take place on Monday 5th August, starting with the 'D' final at 12 midday.
