There will be no three-in-a-row of Munster titles for Burgess/Duharra as the defending champions bowed out at the semi-final stage on Sunday to Clare's Inagh/Kilnamona.

A huge crowd turned out to the Inagh venue on a mild sunny afternoon to see two great teams battle it out in a tight game where great skill and determination was on display.
For Duharra, they knew from last years Munster final of what to expect, yet it was the Clare side who exacted revenge and no one can deny that they were better side on the day.

Eimear McDonnell opened the scoring in the first minute when she latched onto a Jenny Grace free and fired over. Inagh levelled on five minutes as an Amy Keating delivery into the Duharra goal-mouth creating huge pressure on the defenders who were unable to clear successfully and Aoife Keane took control and struck over to level.
The hosts were threatening early on and their captain Claire Hehir dropped a long ball rinto the danger zone where the ball was eventually worked out for a 45 with Keating splitting the uprights.
