North Tipperary Under 14 Hurling team who finished runners-up in the 2016 Peadar Cummins Tournament last Saturday in Borrisoleigh

Peadar Cummins Tournament: Our U14 interdivisional hurling squad travelled to Borris-Ileigh on Saturday last to participate in the annual Peadar Cummins tournament and finished runners-up to West on head to head. Well done to all associated with this performance including the mentors, Cormac McGrath, Anthony Freeman, Cian McDonnell and Conor Darcy.

Feile na nGael 2016: This years Feile Hurling will be officially launched on Thursday evening in Ballmacarbary, Co. Waterford when the President of the GAA, Aodhan O'Fearghail will attend. All participating clubs are encouraged to attend this launch, as North Tipp Clubs will play a major part in this annual event which takes place June this year.

Feile Peil: Inane Rovers and Ballinahinch/Templederry will represent North Tipp in the Feile Peil County semi-finals next weekend, when Inane will play Galtee/Golden and Ballinhinch/Templederry will meet Cashel King Cormacs. Both games take place in Templetuohy.

Under 12 Football: In the 'A' grade, ballina will play Inane Rovers and Silvermines will meet Nenagh Eire Óg in the semi-finals next weekend following the playoffs last week.

In the 'B' grade, the semi-final line up is Toomevara v Burgess and Templederry v Moneygall.

Meanwhile in the 'C' grade, Newport play Shannon Rovers with the winner meeting Ballina in the final.

In the 'D' grade, the semi-finals are Silvermines v Toomevara and Ballina v Moneygall. All semi-finals take place this Friday evening with the North Finals fixed for Saturday week, venue TBC.

Under 14 Football: In the 'A' grade this week we are at round 3 which sees Nenagh Eire Og v Inane Rovers, Ballina v Toomevara and Kilruane MacDonaghs v Silvermines. There are also two back fixtures which need to take place asap ie Kilruane v Ballina and Nenagh v Kilruane. In the 'B' grade we are also at roundd 3 with several back fixtures to be played asap.

Under 16 Football: In the 'A' grade, there are two big games down for decision involving Lorrha Rovers v Inane Rovers and Kilruane MacDonaghs v Nenagh. Ballina have given Borris-Ileigh a walkover, so the table will be complete after this weeks round.

In the 'B' grade, the group stages are almost complete, except for Portroe v Ballinahinch/Templederry this Thursday. We need a playoff in group one between Burgess and Silvermines to see who will meet Newport in the first semi-final. Borrisokane will play Kiladangan in the other.
