Fundraising cycle for life-changing surgery for Sophie

Next Sunday (September 27th) Lower Ormond Cycling Club are hosting Cycle for Sophie, a charity cycle in aid of Sophie's Wish, a fantastic local fundraiser. 
Sophie Breen is a brave little girl from Borrisokane, who is looking to have life changing surgery in USA. This surgery will change Sophie's life, it will stop further deterioration and reduce spastisity. The surgery will improve Sophies movement and endurance, it will also allow her to be more active and hopefully be able to get involved in sports and activities like all her friends (which she wants more then anything) but most importantly it will save her from pain and discomfort!   

 

CYCLE DETAILS
For Sunday's cycle there are 150k (30kph avg), 100k (two speed groups) and 50k options. 
The event is Cycling Ireland approved. There's a €30 entry fee (+€5 insurance for non-CI members).
