Lions Club charity golf event appeal

Being conscious of the many restrictions surrounding the holding of all sporting events, Nenagh Lions Club Charity Golf competition is taking place on Saturday and Sunday, September 26th and 27th, in Nenagh Golf Club.

Similar to previous years money raised from this event will be allocated to deserving causes at local level including two charities:

Riding for the Disabled Nenagh Branch: A community group providing the opportunity for individuals, with physical or intellectual disabilities, to horse ride which in turn provides therapy, fitness, skill development, socialisation and, most importantly, fun.

CARMHA – Connection and Recovery in Mental Health and Addiction: A community group who provide free professional counseling and peer-support services for Addiction and Mental Health issues (so-called 'Dual Diagnosis') in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

We deeply appreciate your support for this and other charitable events over previous years and appeal to all you golfing enthusiasts to participate in this charitable golf event. The format of this outing is a ‘Champagne Scramble’ involving teams of four players, which proved very popular over recent years. Prizes for this Lions Golf outing are very kindly donated by Breo Jewellers and Jim McLoughney's Menswear

Entry fee: €60 per team

For team reservations phone Nenagh Golf Club at (067) 31476 (Ext 2) or Tom Doheny at (087) 2132241 or alternatively through the club’s website www.nenaghgolfclub.com

Nenagh Lions Club wishes to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks for your continued support over the years.

Nenagh Lions Club is a completely non-profitable voluntary group where every euro collected goes directly into the local community.

Members do not receive any payment in respect of works carried out on behalf of the club.
