This Thursday, September 10th, sees the club heading back to a walk around The Gloster Lake Loop.

New members welcome at Roscrea Trail Blazers

In line with Government guidelines we can now travel outside of our county for health and recreation but will be unable to travel to the Slieve Blooms for the next few weeks. With this in mind Roscrea Trail Blazers' Thursday night walks have resumed and we will start getting back to some of our more popular walks.

On Thursday last we were at Knockbarron Wood outside Kinnity.  A well attended walk with a few new members joining the group. One of the best 5km woodland walks in around Kinnity and well worth a visit. Well done to everyone that made the effort. This Thursday, September 10th, sees the club heading back to a walk we haven’t done in quite a while, The Gloster Lake Loop. A smashing flat walk and well suited to everyone. 7.5km easy/moderate hike and one well worth the effort.  Meeting at Mulrooneys Gala  at 7pm or at the end of Larkins Lane at 7.15pm. Please bring head/hand torch.

It has come to our attention that some members have not been receiving the text notifications and if this is so can you sent a text to the number below stating this. Members will be asked to continue to adhere to the 2 metre distancing. We are really looking forward to getting back to meeting some great friends over the next few weeks and back to some smashing walks. Thanks to everyone that supported the club early in 2020 and who supported our many night walks and day’s away.

NEW MEMBERS INVITATION

The Trail Blazers would like to put out an open invitation to the general public to join them at some point on their walks programme in 2020. Walking is a great way to get into shape as well as being a great way to meet new friends and see new places. The Trail Blazers website www.roscreatrailblazers.com is up and running and you are welcome to take a look and see what the club has planned. If you would like to join the group on any of their walks you can contact Cathal on 086 3399193 with an expression of interest. You will be made very welcome.
