Summer Stars at Nenagh Library – where's Bob this week?

Hello all, it's Bob here and I am having the best time this summer out and about in Nenagh.

You guys have some lovely places to visit around Nenagh. Can you guess where I was yesterday? If you think you know, then pick up your entry form in the library. Just fill it up, put your name and telephone number on it and drop it back into the box for our fortnightly draw - Who knows; maybe you could win a prize!

Speaking of which... Have you seen Nenagh library lately? Wow! They have a lots of fun things to do this summer from crafts on Wednesday mornings and story time on Thursday mornings, all starting at 11.15am, to movie club every Thursday afternoon at 2.30pm for the kids aged 12 and up.

This Thursday we will be showing 'I am Number Four' based on the book of the same name by Pittacus Lore. Check out below what pluggedin.com had to say about this movie.

Oh, and don't forget our 'Understanding dogs' workshop on July 24th at 11am in the library where the very nice people from Dogs Trust Ireland will show us how to understand and get the best from our pet pooches.

'I am Number Four': It's tough to be the new kid. Especially in high school. You gotta find your locker, settle into your classes, figure out the clique system. And, if you're emigrating from another solar system, well, the adjustment period can be so much worse.

Take Number Four, for instance, a transfer student from the planet Lorien. Ever since his homeland was destroyed by the murderous Mogadorians, Four has majored in survival. He's hiding out  —like the rest of Lorien's stragglish survivors — on a backwater planet called Earth, hopping from town to town just to stay alive.
