Historic graveyards of Silvermines launch night

The digitisation of the Silvermines Parish graveyards, a project undertaken by the Silvermines Historical Society, has been completed and will be launched this Friday night, July 12th.

Dr John Tierney of Eachtra, who initiated the project with the SHS group, will give a talk on some of the more interesting and historic headstones recorded.

The launch takes place in The Eagle’s Nest, Dolla, at 8.30pm. All are welcome and light refreshments will be served.
