A 'Big Hello' in Moneygall & Dunkerrin this weekend
The Big Hello! is Ireland’s National Community Weekend, celebrating the great spirit of community that exists across the country, and Moneygall & Dunkerrin will be getting involved.
Moneygall Development Association invites everyone to meet on Friday May 3rd, when they will showcase the newest community asset our community walking track. Everyone is invited to assemble at the playground from 8 pm when you will be invited to walk a number of laps of the track and get a feel for the off-road walking facility available for community use.
Saturday sees the Community Garden Moneygall showcase its wonderful amenity, the opening and blessing of the project will give everyone an opportunity to explore what is possible when a community comes together and literally watch the fruits of their labour grow. Its and event for everyone with face painting and balloon modelling for the children and refreshments for adults. The car park of the soccer club will be available for parking and the event will commence at 12 noon.
Sunday will bring to a close our Big Hello celebrations as Moneygall FC will host the Kieran Costello Memorial Cup. The cup dedicated after one of the clubs founding members and pillar of community development is a fitting tribute to close out our community celebration. Moneygall FC will host the cup competition for U12 girls competing in the NTSFL commencing from 12 noon and this event is open for all to come and see the great talent of our local girls as we celebrate sport in our community.
