Great prizes at Nenagh dive show

There are some great prizes to be won at the fast-approaching Dive Ireland International Expo in Nenagh on March 2nd and 3rd.

For starters, everyone who pays in to the show will be entered into a draw for a Red Sea holiday for two people. This prize is provided by Egyptian dive centre Roots Red Sea, proud sponsors of the main speaker room at this year's show.

There are also some truly marvellous raffle prizes to be won at the show, among them the bog oak sculpture of a dolphin provided by local wood carver Paradzai Havatitye. Para's work is well-known throughout the Nenagh district. A member of Dive Ireland hosts Lough Derg Sub Aqua Club, his recent creations include the wooden statues of Fr Alec Reid, Sr Breda Quigley and Fr Dan Fitzgerald at St Mary of the Rosary Church, Nenagh.

Also among the prizes is a Dive Ireland T shirt signed by champion of the natural world himself, Sir David Attenborough. And there's a pair of tickets to 'Blue Planet II Live in Concert', the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra's spectacular audiovisual recreation of Attenborough's wonder show, which is coming up at the Three Arena in Dublin next month.

There is also a cash prize of €500 provided by Lough Derg SAC and a myriad of prizes contributed by local sponsors, including two-nights B&B with one evening meal for two at any Great National hotel, as well as Breo jewellery, Centra wine, a goodie bag from Eason, toys and a fleece provided by Abbey Machinery, and vouchers for Arrabawn retail stores.

Hosted by Lough Derg SAC in association with the Irish Underwater Council, Dive Ireland International Expo 2019 will take place at the Great National Abbey Court Hotel on Saturday and Sunday, March 2nd and 3rd.
