Plan for Portroe school

The Board of Management of Portroe National School is seeking planning permission for new development works at the school.

Martin Shinnors, Architect (MRIAI), is applying on behalf of the board for permission for a development consisting of a single-storey
extension with basement level storage space and alterations for special needs purposes. Permission will be sought for two additional classrooms and associated, corridors, sanitary and all ancillary works; two withdrawal rooms; four storage rooms at basement level; changes to create a defined front entrance with new covered porch and new universal access and pedestrian entrance; new rear entrance.

Two multi-purpose rooms, a sensory room, staff room and office will also be included in the plan, along with associated corridors, sanitary, storage areas and all ancillary works.
