All set for A Taste of Roscrea!

Preparations are in the final stages for the hosting of A Taste of Roscrea 2018.

This very popular food and craft festival is in its seventh year and has attracted thousands of visitors to the town of Roscrea. The committee have put together an amazing show for this year, all of which is centered around family and entertainment.

On display for three days will be 40 exhibitors showcasing their handmade crafts, all which would provide beautiful Christmas gifts. The entertainment for the children will see Storyteller Steve Lally telling tales from the past around Santa and his Elves during Saturday and Sunday. Also, why not sample our snow globe, face paining, balloon modelling or have a go on the train – all free!

We have carol singing, student exhibitions, Bank of Ireland Enterprise night hosted by comedian Alan Shortt, and special guests Rob Heffernan and Dale Cronin from Ireland’s Strictly Come Dancing. On Saturday night, a major fundraising fashion show takes place for St Cronan’s Camogie Club to support the fantastic work of all the volunteers. Special prizes on offer with a complete makeover for a lucky lady, compliments of Shaw's. This is sure to be a night not to be missed.

Come along to support and enjoy the festive atmosphere as Roscrea town comes alive and becomes the place to visit in the Midlands on December 7th, 8th and 9th. Santa is looking forward to seeing you all!
