Charity tractor and truck run in Terryglass this Sunday

A fundraising tractor and truck run will set out from Terryglass village this Sunday, December 2nd, at 12.30pm (registration at 11am).

The vehicles will return to Terryglass later in the day, with an auction taking place at 3pm before the village's Christmas lights are switched on at 4pm.

There will be music by Colin Kenny and a special guest appearance from Gareth Gault 'Donkey' from Grassmen.

Denise Cahalan and Andrew Hogan have organised the event in memory of their beautiful little daughter, Andrea, who was stillborn on December 1st last year. “She may have been stillborn, but she was still born,” Denise pointed out.

She and Andrew are holding the event aid of two charities – Féileacáin (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland) and Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, which offers remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby with a free gift of professional portraiture.
