Nenagh dancers making rapid progress

The pre-Christmas beginners class for 2018 is rather special.

Rapid progress is being made and already the dancers are quite stylish and graceful. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. It is also great to see that some dancers are practising the steps and figures at home.

The winners of last week's foxtrot competition were: DJ Meagher and Tracy Chadwick, and Stan and Mary Gubbins. We congratulate both couples.
The continuation class is making satisfactory progress too. Last week these dancers were introduced to the ballroom foxtrot and they also practised the man's turns in the social jive. The star on the night was Jim Fogarty and he will soon be ready for Blackpool.

The winners in our recent foxtrot were: Kieran and Marie O' Brien, Brian Gleeson and Hazel Nevin, Matt and Anne Malone. Well done to all.
