Agriculture Minister to attend Cappamore Show

Limerick Senator Kieran O’Donnell wishes to encourage the farming community to come along to a Special Forum on fodder and mental wellbeing which is being held as part of Cappamore Show this Saturday, August 18th, with a start time of 2pm. It is being organised by the show committee, Teagasc, Dairygold and farming organisations.

The forum’s fine line-up includes Agriculture Minister Michael Creed, Dairygold CEO Jim Woulfe and former Ireland and Munster great Tony Buckley, who will publicly discuss his battle with depression. It will be chaired by Limerick IFA chairman, Shay Galvin.

“I spoke to my colleague Minister Creed to invite him to Cappamore Show and speak at the forum. He regards this forum as a very worthwhile initiative and wishes to hear from farmers about the fodder situation including the stresses they are facing on a daily basis.Minister Creed’s coming to Cappamore Show sends out a strong statement that the Government is taking farmers views on board and they will be addressed.”
