Go-ahead for Nenagh school plan

Conditional planning permission has been granted for a new extension at the Christian Brothers School in Nenagh.

The plan involves a single-storey extension to the existing secondary school and all related site works. The site, which has been acquired by the school, is adjancent to the old military barracks.

Among other conditions, the council stipulated that all works carried out in the proximity of a stone boundary wall, which forms part of the curtilage of the adjoining Protected Structure, be supervised on an ongoing basis by a conservation architect.
