Win tickets to Kristofferson night in Borrisokane

Guardian readers are this week being offered the chance to win one of two pairs of tickets to the Kris Kristofferson tribute night in Borrisokane this Friday.


Featuring three local musicians, this acoustic concert is being held to raise funds for the Clarke Memorial Hall in Borrisokane.


By now well known for playing popular shows across North Tipperary, the groups features seasoned musicians Pat Mulcahy on lead vocals and guitar, Austin Durack (guitar) and Sean O'Connor (harmonica). All of them major Kristofferson fans for as long as they can remember, they will ensure a fascinating night for fans of the Texan legend and all lovers of Country music in general.


Working their way through such timeless classics as 'Sunday Morning Coming Down', 'Me and Bobby McGee', 'Help Me Make it Through the Night', and 'Why Me, Lord', the band's acoustic set will also see Pat recounting the incredible life story of Kristofferson the singer, songwriter and actor, a man with an interesting story to tell in all of his songs.


The show will take place at the Clarke Memorial Hall on Friday November 10th at 8.30pm. Tickets costs €10 each.
