Presentation night for ballycommon sponsored ride

A great turnout of 226 horses and riders took part in the fifth annual Ballycommon Sponsored Ride, which was held on Sunday March 15th.

This year's event was held in aid of Nenagh Special Summer Camp, for which over €20,000 has been raised so far.

The post-event presentation night at The Thatched Cottage is always a great night out, and commences this Saturday (April 4th) at 9pm.

The night involves the presentation of prizes and a draw for sponsorship cards returned with €100 or more (three winners, each to receive 20 bags of Pegus feed, a pallet of ComfyBed, 10 buckets of Welmin horse lick and a BSR sleeveless jacket). There will be live music with Co Meath band Twister, sure to keep you dancing the night away, followed by a disco.
There will also be finger food, a raffle and auction with some truly amazing items up for grabs,  including for example two-night B&B plus one evening meal for two people at the Clarion Hotel in Cork; afternoon tea for two at the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin; a €500 holiday voucher from DK Travel; framed Munster jerseys signed by Paul O'Connell and Donnacha Ryan; a pair of All-Ireland hurling tickets; and a weekend for six at Gort na gCapall Holiday Cottage, Dromineer, with some excellent excursions and meals included. A photograph and DVD double pack (€10) of the 2015 Ballycommon Sponsored Ride will also be available on the night. Tickets €10.

Proceeds will go to Nenagh Special Summer Camp.
