Patrick McKeogh Memorial Tractor Run

THE fourth annual Patrick McKeogh Memorial Tractor run is on this Sunday, December 15, at Ballina GAA field, leaving at 1pm sharp.

This is the biggest tractor run in the area with up to 140 tractors taking part, and this year's charity is the Alzheimer Association of Ireland. Again, it will be travelling through three counties - Tipperary, Clare and Limerick.

A monster auction takes place that night in Liam Ó Rian's pub at 9.30 with trailers of timber, jackets from all machinery dealers, oil and, top of the list, a friesian in-calf heifer. Winners of the raffle announced on the night with a free draw on the night for everyone attending the auction.

A GoFundMe page can be found on the Patrick McKeogh Memorial Tractor Run page on Facebook for anyone who wants to make a contribution. And for anyone who wants to contribute to the auction or offer sponsorship in any way, contact 087 2778572.

The organisers would very much like to thank everyone who has contributed to the event over the last four years, making it a great success.
