Plans announced for Nenagh St Patrick’s celebrations

Tipperary County Council, Nenagh Live and Spain AV are delighted to announce plans for this year's St Patrick's Day celebrations in Nenagh.

Hosted by RTÉ’s Tom Bán, a week-long series of events beginning on Monday, March 13, will culminate in a large outdoor concert and festival market on St Patricks Day, Friday, March 17. This year’s event is centred around Nenagh’s historical district with multiple performance stages, street entertainment, a funfair, market stalls, live music and children’s entertainment.

Festival Director David Spain says: “We are delighted to build on the success of 2022. Over 4,500 people attended last year but as Nenagh is a town on the move, this year will be bigger and brighter! Our festival theme for 2023 is one of celebration and, as such, we plan to celebrate the talents of Nenagh’s musicians, singers, dancers and performers with a special emphasis on local producers and artists.

“In anticipation of this year’s event, the support we have received once again from local business, Nenagh Chamber of Commerce and Tipperary County Council has been absolutely overwhelming. You have to love the town; it’s truly an amazing place to live and work!”

Mr Spain goes on to say: “If you are a local producer, artist or stall holder and wish to take part in our festival market, please contact nenaghlive@gmail.com or text 086 806 8920 to reserve your place. Please be aware, even with the increased size of the festival site, numbers will be limited. So, don’t delay, book your place today!”
