Michael loses his seat

A local man was disappointed to find damage caused to one of the benches in Pearse St, Nenagh, last Sunday morning week.

Michael Gleeson of The Hibernian Inn sits on the bench almost every day to chat to people and watch the world go by. He said the bench was vandalised and he criticised the behaviour of whoever was involved. He hoped they would be identified by the town’s CCTV system.
