Bealtaine programme continues in Tipp

We are delighted to welcome Hot House Flowers’ Peter O’Toole for a wonderful concert called Songs From The Sun, in which he will sing a wide range of really gorgeous well known songs. The concert was commissioned in association with Nenagh Arts Centre and you can sit back and enjoy it on Saturday, May 15th, at 8pm on our website www.tipperarybealtaine.ie

If you’re up for a dance, join our dance for joy, dance for health workshops with dance artist Jazmin Chiodi who will guide you through gentle exercise set to lively music. Tune in on our website on May 10th, 17th and 24th at 11am. The final class on May 24th includes a screening of dance film September Days by Iseli-Chiodi Dance Company (Ireland) featuring Tipperary based, older adults with whom Jazmin worked over the past couple of years. Also this week Jean O’ Donoghue encourages you to give ballet a go -it’s never too late and she’s online on Wednesday, May 12th, at 11am.

Tipperary events continue with talk by Lynn Kirkham about her life’s work on Monday, May 10th, followed by her weekly workshop Give Me Shelter May 11th, May 18th & May 25th at 2pm in which she demonstrates how to make a garden shelter using willow and natural materials. Bealtaine favourites Fran Garry Marnane and Pat Marnane are back with their second concert in the Music From Our House to Yours series Wednesday May 12th and 19th at 3pm when they are joined by tenor Paul Hennessy and fiddler Therese McInerney for a fabulous concert of tunes and much loved songs.
