Excitement is building among EuroMillions players all over Ireland ahead of Friday’s extra special EuroMillions Mega Draw which has a guaranteed jackpot of a staggering €130 million.

The special guaranteed draw comes hot on the heels of the ‘Fortnight of Fortunes’ EuroMillions event which made five brand new millionaires in Ireland earlier this month. It has been another record-breaking year for the EuroMillions game in Ireland with a record TEN new Irish millionaires made in the game in 2020.

The National Lottery has advised players dreaming of winning big in the special draw to continue to follow public health guidelines and if playing in-store, to buy their tickets early to avoid queues which will inevitably build in the hours leading up to the cut-off for ticket sales at 7.30pm on Friday evening.

So far this year, over €136 million in prizes has been won by players in Ireland in the EuroMillions game which includes two separate jackpot winners in Dublin and Mayo and an additional eight ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ winners who each won €1 million. Ireland’s biggest EuroMillions winner in 2020 was an online player from Dublin who scooped the €49.5 million jackpot last July.
