Nenagh Celtic’s FAI Junior Cup crusade ended in cruel fashion on Sunday after an extra time loss to Galway side Mervue United.
Nenagh looked on their way when Mark Walsh put the home side ahead ten minutes into the second half with a sublime free kick but that lead only last thirteen minutes as Barry Moran scored directly from a free. Celtic battled hard after this but were beaten in extra time as Moran grabbed his second with a bullet header.
