eir Sport to show Ireland v New Zealand Live from Chicago

eir Sport has announced that they will broadcast the Ireland v New Zealand clash on Saturday, 5th November in a one-off test match, which will be played in Chicago’s 61,500 seater stadium, Soldier Field.

The game will be at 8pm Irish time, and is the first of Ireland’s Autumn test matches. Joe Schmidt’s Ireland side will face the World Champions, who once again showed their recent dominance in The Rugby Championship winning all of their games.

 

eir Sport will also broadcast the much anticipated Munster v Maori All Blacks game, which takes place on Friday, 11th November. This will be the first time both sides will meet in Thomond Park.

 

These fixtures are part of the impressive rugby coverage on the eir Sport pack this Autumn. Other upcoming content includes the European Rugby Champions Cup including Leinster’s first game on Saturday, October 15th, Connacht and Ulster games in Round 2, and December’s double headers for Leinster & Munster Rugby. The eir Sport pack also shows 69 Aviva Premiership games, Leinster Schools Rugby and every game from Women’s Rugby World Cup 2017 next summer.

 

Plus the eir Sport pack will also broadcast the Maori All Blacks v USA Eagles as part of the AIG rugby weekend on Friday, November 4th.
