Ormond to face kanturk in munster senior cup

The draw for the Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Cup has taken place at the 32 South Mall Bank of Ireland branch in Cork City. Nenagh Ormond have to travel to play Kanturk on Saturday October 24th.

 

Munster Rugby President Bertie Smith, Munster Rugby Hon. Secretary Joe Murphy and players Duncan Williams and Dave O'Callaghan made the draw in the presence of Bank of Ireland South West Regional Manager David Merriman and Munster Rugby Senior Club representatives.

 

Holders Cork Constitution begin their defence with an away tie to Highfield. The winners will progress to a home tie in the quarter final stage of the competition against the deciders of Limerick clubs Shannon and Garryowen.


Thomond will host Young Munster and face the winners of UL Bohemian and Cashel while Cork clubs Dolphin and Sunday's Well battle it out with the winner travelling to face either Kanturk or Nenagh.
