Munster lose to clermont
Munster's hopes of making the knockout stages of Champions Cup hang in the balance after the province suffered a 16-9 loss to French powerhouse Clermont Auvergne on Saturday evening.
While the home side claimed a losing bonus point from Saturday's encounter they now face a daunting challenge of travelling to Clermont on Sunday in these pivotal back to back clashes which largely decide who progresses from this competitive group.
Sale are the only side that mathematically can't qualify for the quarter-final stages after losing for the third time, on this occasion at home to Saracens on Saturday.
