Dundrum House to host Golf Day Fundraiser with the Stars

Friday 23rd September 2016: Dundrum House Hotel Golf and Leisure Resort in Tipperary will play host to a fundraising golf day on Friday 7th October. A host of sports and entertainment stars will come together for a day of fundraising, golf and socialising, with proceeds going to the Tipp Players Training Fund and Tallaght Community Arts (TCA).

The All-Ireland Hurling Tipperary Champions Darren Gleeson, Seamus Callinan, Bubbles O Dwyer, Brendan Maher & Noel McGrath will be in attendance along with Dublin All-Star Bernard Brogan who is due to appear in the 2016 All-Ireland Football replay on the 1st October against Mayo.

Well known entertainment stars Keith Duffy and Brian Ormond will also take part as experienced golfers. Keith Duffy has had a remarkable career in music, acting and as a philanthropist with both he and TV Presenter Brian Ormond previously involved in hosting and participating in various Charity Golf Days to date.

Former Professional Rugby player for Munster and Ireland, Alan Quinlan and renowned horse trainer Mouse Morris will also be adding weight to the growing list of personalities taking part.

Dundrum Golf Course is an impressive 18 Hole Championship Course designed by Ryder Cup great, Philip Walton, set on a 200-acre estate of woodland and parkland and against the backdrop of the Golden Vale of Tipperary. Dundrum Golf Course is a remarkable setting for teams to partake in this fundraising event. Dundrum House Golf Resort General Manager Noel Mulhaire said of the event;

The funds raised here will go towards player welfare and wider financial support for the Tipperary team so they can continue their success into 2017.
