Keeper Cycling Club on the lookout for New Members for 2018

Keeper Cycling Club are hosting an open evening for anyone interested in cycling in Newport and the surrounding areas. The even takes place at O’Sullivans this Friday, 26th January, and could be the perfect kickstart to a new fitness regime for 2018.

Members of the club, which was formed in 2014, will be in attendance to answer any queries that budding cyclists may have about joining the club or cycling in groups. Interested parties can drop into the front lounge of O’Sullivans any time that they wish between 7.30 and 9.00pm on the night.

We are always welcoming to new members, and no previous experience of group cycling is required. We have a number of different groups out on the road to suit all levels,” said KCC Chairperson Ciarán Ryan.

Keeper Cycling Club currently has three different group spins which run every Sunday morning. There is a leisure group, an intermediate group and an advanced group, so there is something for everyone.

Many people don’t want to be training on their own, especially during the winter months. This is a great opportunity to cycle with others, learn more about the sport, and make some new friends and have a bit of craic,” said Linda Carroll, the club’s PRO.

Why not come along to our club open night and have a cup of tea with us and find out more about the club? We are looking forward to meeting new cyclists from the area,” added Ms. Carroll.
