Operation Transformation Fun Family Walks in Tipperary

 

Tipperary Sports Partnership and Sport Ireland in association with the RTE programme Operation Transformation are organising 5 Family Fun Walks in Tipperary this Saturday, 13th January in Cahir, Clonmel, Nenagh, Tipperary Town and Templemore.

Registration for all walks opens at 10am with the walk starting at 11am sharp and will follow an approximate 5k route. The Nenagh walk will start and finish from Éire Óg GAA Complex, taking in Dromin Road and N52 bypass. The Templemore walk will follow the unmarked Sli na Slainte route in the Town Park and the marked Sli na Slainte route starting on the main street finishing back in the Town Park in Templemore AC Clubhouse for refreshments.

The Clonmel walk will follow a route around Marlfield and return to the Park Hotel. The Cahir walk will follow a route from Duneske, onto the Clonmel Rd, Colaiste, Cahir Rd, The Square and returning to Duneske. The Tipp Town walk will start from the Canon Hayes Sports Centre and follow a 5km route returning to the Canon Hayes Sports Centre.

These events are free and open to all walkers. The walks will be led by Irish Heart Foundation Walking Leaders & supported by a Garda Siochana, Civil Defence, Clonmel AC, Duneske Sports Centre, Cahir Meet n Train, Canon Hayes Sports Centre, Nenagh Eire Og and Templemore AC. Please note, for safety reasons no dogs allowed on these walks.
