CORK v TIPPERARY

Semple Stadium, Thurles

Saturday 18th August

Throw-in @ 7.15pm (E.T.)

Referee: Eamon Cassidy (Derry)

It’s a great weekend for Tipperary camogie with the senior team reaching an All Ireland semi-final for the first time in ten years but face a mighty challege in the form of Cork.
Tipperary have been knocking on the semi-final door for the last three years, so finally making the breakthrough has been a huge boost to both players and management alike. It is without doubt a massive lift to reach this stage of the competition and end the ten year itch which has plagued the side for far too long.
It will also be their fourth time this season they square up to their old rivals Cork and what a game both are expected to serve up.
Two weeks ago, Tipperary progressed from the quarter final with a hugely impressive workrate against Waterford and now that, and even more, will be required on Saturday in this huge ask with the rebels.

This test is a whole new ball game against the reigning All Ireland champions who will no doubt be hungry for another Croke Park appearance.
