Leading from pillar to post, there was never any doubt about the outcome as Burgess had it far too easy against a disappointing Ballingarry side in group 1 of the O Riain Cup last Sunday.

The win sees Burgess on full points out of two games following their first round win over JK Brackens and judging by this game they will be difficult to beat in the knockout stages, which they should get to.

Top scorer Stephen Murray was man of the match and he had great support from Donagh Maher, Johnny Mulqueen, Keith Nealon and Danny Ryan, the latter scoring four points from play. Burgess had eight scorers with seven on target in the opening half as they had 1-7 on board before Ballingarry had their opening score in the 15th minute.
