Tipperary's Aishling Moloney in action against Cork in the Munster semi-final

Nenagh to host Tipperary’s championship opener

TIPPERARY v KERRY

MacDonagh Park, Nenagh

Saturday 14th July

Throw-in @ 1.00pm

Referee: Jonathan Murphy (Carlow)

North Tipperary will get the opportunity to see one of the county's star teams at the moment this Saturday.

MacDonagh Park in Nenagh will host two All Ireland Senior Ladies Football Championship fixtures this Saturday afternoon, including Tipperary's clash with Munster rivals Kerry.

After winning the intermediate title in impressive fashion last year, Tipperary haven't looked back this year, winning promotion from division 2 in the Lidl National League to ensure they are among the big guns in 2019.

In the championship so far, Tipperary's only outing has been against Cork whom they pushed all the way in the Munster semi-final before succumbing 2-12 to 1-10. The rebelettes went onto defeat Kerry in the final, 5-13 to 2-10 which suggests Tipperary are in with a great chance of getting their All Ireland campaign off to a great start.
