Upbeat mood at Friends North launch

Tipperary football might not get the support recognition they deserve in the county but those that do get behind the team are as loyal as they come anywhere in the country.

Within the county, the North division would be perceived as the weaker of the divisions in that regard but the Friends of Tipperary Football hope to change that as part of their 2018 membership drive which held is North launch in Ballycommon last week.

With five players from five diffierent clubs in the division now on the senior panel, including Portroe's Kevin O'Halloran and Burgess' Stephen Murray who were in attendance, along with manager Liam Kearns, there was an upbeat mood to the meeting looking ahead to the coming year.
