Semple Stadium to host Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Quarter-Finals double-header

Semple Stadium in Thurles will play host to a double-header for the upcoming Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Quarter-Finals on Saturday August 5th which have now been confirmed as follows:

Dublin v Wexford

Throw-in: 5pm

 

Galway v Tipperary

Throw-in: 7pm

 

*Extra-time to be played in the event of a draw in either game.

Adults: €10

Students/OAPs: €5

Juveniles (U18): Free

Wexford finished second to Cork in Group 2 having suffered only one defeat in the group stage. They will face a Dublin side who have impressed this year with two victories under their belt in reaching the Quarter-Finals.

 

Tipperary finished third in Group 1 after a dramatic victory in their final group game which saw them rise up the table to secure a Quarter-Final berth. They will face a Galway side whose only defeat so far in the campaign came at the hands of the reigning All-Ireland champions Kilkenny.

 

Both fixtures will be broadcast live on RTÉ and the winners of these ties will progress to the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship Semi-Finals on Saturday August 19^thwhere they will face either Cork or Kilkenny who advanced directly to the Semi-Finals having topped their respective groups.

The Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Championship Finals take place on Sunday September 10^th in Croke Park, Dublin.
