UPDATED - Tipp fans warned of parking restrictions in Cork this Saturday

Tipperary hurling supporters have been warned to heed traffic restrictions ahead of their journey to Cork for this Saturday's All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship quarter final against Clare.


The advice for supporters of Clare, Tipperary, Waterford and Wexford, attending the match fixtures over the weekend, is to arrive early and to park and ride or walk to the stadium. 


There will be severe restrictions on parking anywhere near the stadium and vehicular access will be extremely limited. However, there is ample parking available in the city centre with regular shuttle bus services to Pairc Ui Chaoimh.


Large attendances are expected at the games and supporters are encouraged to take this opportunity to view this outstanding new stadium and avail of its facilities.


In addition to on street parking, Q Park are offering discounted Match Day parking at a fixed rate of €5 forParc Ui Chaoimh customers. This offer will run from 10am to 8pm each match day and applies to City Hall and Carroll's Quay car parks only. Supporters intending to travel by bus can avail of express Bus Eireann services from Clare, Tipperary, Wexford and Waterford.
