Specsavers Nenagh sponsor Silvermines Junior Ladies Football team

Specsavers Nenagh is delighted to announce the store's sponsorship of the Junior Silvermines Ladies Gaelic Football Club.

The store is providing the ambitious young group with Specsavers sponsored jerseys and bibs, which will be worn by players during all junior championship matches.

The team, who have been in training since early January are playing competitive football for the first time this season. Sean Dunne, Tom Cuneen and Ciara Kennedy, are coaching the young team, who have played five matches this season, winning four in the process. The store is hoping that the sponsorship will inspire more girls in North Tipperary to play ladies Gaelic football.

Speaking about the store's involvement, Specsavers Nenagh store director, Orlagh Moynihan says, “We are delighted to sponsor the Silvermines Ladies Gaelic Football Club. The team is off to a flying start this season and we wish them every success as they proudly represent Nenagh. Specsavers Nenagh is a local community optician and hearing centre where supporting local clubs, charities and organisations is a key part of our cultureâ€.
