Sons of Southern Ulster for Ballina

Indie rock band from Cavan The Sons of Southern Ulster are making a welcome return to the Washerwoman pub in Ballina next Wednesday night, June 6th.

Having played a well-received show in Ballina last year, the 'punky space-folk' band are doing another short tour, which will be preceded by a showing of Nicky Fennell's film documentary about the making of their debut album ('Foundry Folk Songs'), after which they will play a set to include tracks from their upcoming second album, 'Paddy K's Mescaline Diaries'.

The Sons are also playing at the Granary in Limerick on Friday June 8th, headlining NightHawks at Dublin's Cobalt on Saturday 9th, and doing sessions for Today FM and with RTÉ. Check out their website for further information.
