Talking History at Steeples

The popular series of local history talks - 'Talking History at Steeples' - will resume on Saturday next, March 31st, at Steeples, O'Rahilly St, Nenagh.

The first in the new series will look at the burning of Lord Dunalley's residence at Kilboy, Dolla during the Civil War. 'Nothing Personal; the Burning of Kilboy House, August 1922' by Nenagh historian, John Flannery, will examine the the lead up to the happenings of that August night, the burning of the house itself and its impact afterwards in the neighbourhood.

The talk commences at 11am. Admission €5; open to all. Come along to Steeples on Saturday morning and enjoy a coffee and a helping of local history.
