Financial awareness seminar in Nenagh

Financial firm SYS Wealth & Financial Planners will host a free financial awareness seminar in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh on March 2nd to provide clarity around the financial implications of being made redundant.

Specifically designed for Coty employees who have or are about to be made redundant, the seminar will look at the options open to people with lump sums, the implications of defined benefit/defined contribution pension schemes and will also provide tax advice.

Guest speakers Pat Sheehan, Tax Partner with BDO and Derek Ryan, Head of Retirement Assets Services at Smith Williamsons will join Tony Delaney, CEO, SYS Wealth & Financial Planners on the night.

Tony Delaney, CEO, SYS Wealth & Financial Planners, said: “Finance is complex at the best of times and being made redundant can be a particularly stressful time. So making decisions on whether to forfeit your Tax Free Lump Sum from your pension or not, or whether to transfer your defined benefit to defined contribution, or invest a lump sum or pay off the mortgage, can be a minefield.
