Annual 'Tipperariana' book fair in Fethard

The 23rd annual 'Tipperariana' book fair run by Fethard Historical Society takes place at Fethard Ballroom this Sunday, February 11th, from 2pm to 6pm.

Ireland's Premier annual book fair will involve up to 40 book stalls with dealers from Armagh to West Cork and all places in between. It is the biggest such antiquarian and second-hand book fair on the Island.

The fair also features the Tipperariana Book of the Year, won last year by Gerard O'Meara from Lorrha for his book, 'Lorrha People in the Great War'. This year's winner, for 2017, was the Boherlahan-Dualla Historical Journal, Vol 20.

Entrance is €2 and accompanied children will be admitted for free. There is a café on site and a piano player to sooth the browsing masses!
