Commercial plan for Roscrea

Roscrea Chamber of Commerce has submitted a planning application for the development of a new commercial centre on the town's Old Dublin Road.

The plan involves construction of a two-storey building containing commercial units on the ground floor and offices on the first floor. There will be a new entrance onto the public roadway, as well as associated site works.

It is understood that the centre is intended to help new business ventures get up and running.

The application is at pre-validation stage with Tipperary Co Council. A decision from the council is due by February 6th.
