Ion Lefter has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

Nenagh Moldovan family appeals for help

A Moldovan family living in Nenagh is appealing for people to help secure treatment for a young man who has lymphoma.

Ion Lefter (33) worked at ABP Meats in Nenagh for five years. Last January he was diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. He has undergone 12 rounds of chemotherapy but his condition is worsening.

Ion's wife Valentina and family in Nenagh have found a clinic in Israel, 'MsAssuta', where they hope to find an effective treatment for Ion. This will, however, prove very expensive, so the family has launched a Go Fund Me campaign.

They are hoping that people will visit the Go Fund Me website and search for Ion Lefter. Any contribution that can be made will be very much appreciated.
