Billy Goulding

Zumba for Billy

As part of the ongoing fundraising effort for young Billy Goulding, a Zumbathon will take place in the Scouts Hall in Nenagh on Sunday, 12th November from 2-5.00pm.

Five year old Billy from Cloughjordan suffers from the rare condition called transverse milities which has left him paralysed from the chin down and has to breath through his neck through a tracheostomy tube.

As part of his ongoing treatment, Billy needs to travel to Stoke Mandeville Hospital in London to continue his rehabilitation and a fundraising committee have been busy organsing events in recent weeks which included a Tractor Run while runners from Borrisoleigh Track Attack ran in the Dublin City Marathon last month to raise funds.

So if you are into Zumba dancing and would like to contribute to the fund, come along to the Scouts Hall on Sunday 12th November where entry for adults is €15 while children are free. On the day there will be a raffle, cake sale and complimentary tea and coffee while there will be face painting for the kinds in what is sure to be a fun filled afternoon for a great cause.
