Nenagh fundraiser for injured motorcyclist

David Moran was injured in a motorbike accident last August

A fundraising night in aid of local motorcyclist David Moran will take place at Maximus Night Club, Nenagh, this Saturday.

David (45) was involved in a serious motorbike accident at Mondello on August 5th this year. He had been racing for the past few seasons and had been a frontrunner in the Classic Superbike class.

The accident has left David with head and spine injuries that will require a lot of physio and hard work to get back to normal life. Unfortunately, David is a self-employed panel beater/sprayer and will have a lengthy spell away from work at a time when some serious medical expenses will need to be covered. Obviously, this is a stressful time for David and his family.

His friends are organising a fundraising night at Maximus Night Club in Nenagh on Saturday October 14th. Doors at 8pm. There will be live music with Ebony followed by DJ. Raffle tickets will also be sold on the night.

The people of Nenagh are asked to help one of their own by supporting this event.

Please support David by purchasing a ticket for €10. Tickets can be purchased at;
Nenagh Tyres, Limerick Road, from John Crosse;
The Hibernian Inn, Pearse Street, from Ciaran Morris; and from the Ormond Hotel, Kenyon Street, from Peter Ryan. Tickets can also be purchased at the door on the night.
