'Working Together for Better Business' was the theme of the open networking meeting recently held by Derg Business Alliance in the Hibernian Inn, Nenagh.

Formed in 2011, Derg Business Alliance is a collection of businesses from the Tipperary, Clare and Limerick areas that support each other by passing business referrals within the network. Each member provides a specific industry service, many of which complement one another.

The purpose of the meeting was to showcase the success that can be achieved when businesses work together to share opportunities, knowledge and advice. “The economy has turned a corner and we now have the opportunity to do better business,” reports Dave Devery, Derg Business Alliance Chairman.

“Many businesses are in strong growth mode and we have the opportunity to assist each other through our structured weekly meetings.”

There was an impressive turnout at the meeting with a particular interest from local businesses within the financial sector. Visitors reported being impressed with the level of business being generated amongst members.
