The operation had a successful outcome when the woman was found on Thursday evening.

Gardaí say they are following a definite line of inquiry into the theft of a large number of items from the Tippo factory site at Kilkeary, which is currently being rebuilt. A number of intruders broke into the site over the bank holiday weekend and stole tools, pumps and other items. The intruders also attempted to move teleporter machines at the construction site.

Meanwhile, gardaí say they are clamping down on illegal taxi drivers in the Nenagh district. A driver who was operating a taxi without a licence was stopped in the district last weekend.
An operation against unlicensed taxis is underway involving local gardaí and the Thurles based Traffic Corps. Gardaí are warning that action will be taken against anyone found operating a taxi illegally. Passengers in such vehicles are warned that they are not covered by insurance should anything go wrong.
